Congratulations to our Featured Bellezza. Fiori. Friend, Marissa and her new husband! We were so happy and honored to be apart of such a special day! We wish you both a wonderful, long, and happy marriage!!
Bellezza. Fiori. : How did you meet your husband?
BFF: We actually had a lot of mutual friends, but did not meet right away due to conflicting work schedules. We met online and once we got to talking, we realized that we had been to the same events but kept missing each other!
Bellezza. Fiori. : Tell us a little bit about your story together, (how long you've been with each other, how did he propose, what do you love most about your husband, anything unique to you as a couple)!
BFF: We were dating about a year and a half when we got engaged. I'm a huge country music fan. We had gone to a concert for my favorite artist with my parents one night in February. I had won a meet-and-greet with the artist backstage. Once I came back from meeting him and I was so excited, Jason was in the lobby and got on one knee in front of all these strangers. What a great surprise!
Bellezza. Fiori. : What is your favorite thing to do together in your free time?
BFF: We love to play tennis, be outside, and try new things. We are each huge Pittsburgh Pirate fans, so we also try to get in as many games a year as possible.
Bellezza. Fiori. : How did you decide what time of year, theme, and colors you wanted for your wedding day?
BFF: We wanted it to be warm enough, but didn't want it to be in the heat of summer, so we picked May -- also when our church had availability. I knew I wanted blue to be one of the colors, and yellow was perfect for spring!
Bellezza. Fiori. : What colors, themes, time of year, etc. did you choose?
BFF: The men were in gray tuxedos with blue and gray bowties with yellow suspenders. My matron of honor had a blue dress and yellow flowers. It was perfect!
Bellezza. Fiori. : What was your most memorable detail of your big day?
BFF: I would say that the most memorable detail of our wedding was just walking out of the vestibule of the church and seeing Jason for the first time. It was a very long aisle (big church!) and I couldn't make out his face, but I saw him wipe his eyes with his hand, and I started to cry, too.
Bellezza. Fiori. : What influenced you the most in your wedding planning process, (your inspiration, ideas, choosing venues, etc.)
BFF: My parents and bridal shows!
Bellezza. Fiori. : What advice do you have for future brides looking to start planning their big day?
BFF: There is no detail worth the amount of stress that you're probably going to have during the planning process. On that note, get all of the big items done as soon as you can and then you can spend more time on enhancing all of the little details without being too stressed or pressed for time.
Bellezza. Fiori. : Would you recommend Bellezza. Fiori. to other brides?
BFF: Absolutely! They made me feel more beautiful than I have ever felt before. They kept me calm while I was getting ready and we had a great time doing hair and makeup. I love that they came to do a trial run so I knew exactly what I was getting. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for amazing work and less stress! My matron of honor stated that she felt more beautiful at my wedding than her own!
